There is something wrong with our society. Every one of us steals from our neighbor. We try to dominate him, and force him to live as we see fit. If he balks at our attempt to control his actions or steal his possessions, we deride, suppress or
threaten violence toward him. If he fails to acquiesce, we use violence to impose our will upon him. And we never even consider for a moment that our actions may not be justified.


But, you say, I don’t steal from my neighbor. I don’t try to force him to act as I do. Whether or not you choose to acknowledge it, you do exactly this under the umbrella of the fearful construct we euphemistically call ‘government’.


Criminal Thoughts is a chronicle of the theft of possessions and liberty that is the basis of our modern society. Criminal Thoughts is my literary outlet for rage against the machine.
